首页 Departments Economic Development Housing Neighborhood Pride Paint Program NEIGHBORHOOD PRIDE PAINT PROGRAM The Neighborhood Pride Paint Program provides grant funding assistance to qualified low- and moderate-income homeowners for the purpose of painting the exterior of their homes. The program is part of broader effort to maintain and improve the character, aesthetic quality and property values within the community. This program is funded on an annual basis, subject to the availability of Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and City Council authorization. Eligibility The award of grants to eligible applicants will be based on random selection. Due to funding constraints, the number of grants awarded each year is limited. To qualify: Properties must be owner-occupied. The single-family home or mobile home must be in need of painting as determined by the City. The existing exterior paint must be lead-free. Owners may not have assets in excess of $120,000, excluding the value of the home. Homeowners must not exceed maximum income limits in the previous two years, as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development based on household size. If lead-based paint is found, the homeowner will be offered the opportunity to apply for a housing rehabilitation loan to implement lead abatement measures and repainting.
