Inicio Government Government Transparency Compensation COMPENSATION Below you’ll find compensation information for public officials as well as compensation for City management and employees. In the interest of greater transparency, we have created this page to assist the public in finding this information more readily. Every two years, the City utilizes an independent compensation consultant firm to conduct a labor market review to establish and update the City’s pay structures. This market data, combined with job analysis and internal salary relationships, are used to determine appropriate pay grades for City jobs. As of December 2011, employees contribute the entire 7 percent employee share towards their PERS retirement benefit. City Clerk $117,960 to $153,348 City contribution toward auto allowance; cell phone; health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance; retirement; eligibility for incentive pay. Commission Compensation Planning Commissioners receive a stipend of $118 per meeting, not to exceed $236 per month. Community Services Commissioners receive a stipend of $59 per meeting, not to exceed $118 per month. Senior Advisory Board Members and Oversight Board Members serve without compensation. Form 806 - Public Official Appointments The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) requires each agency to post a single Form 806 (FPPC Regulation 18705.5 amended March 2012). Form 806 reports additional compensation that officials receive when appointing themselves to positions on other boards, commissions or committees of a public agency, special district, and joint power agency / authorities.
