Whether it is relaxing under a tree, playing with the kids, exploring the City’s history, or practicing your skills at Orange County’s largest free skatepark, Lake Forest has it all. Park hours are dawn to dusk. Lighted athletic fields or tennis courts are open until 10:00 p.m. Park rules are posted in each park. The Lake Forest Sports Park The 86-acre Sports Park and Recreation Center opened in November 2014, and is one of the largest sports park in Orange County with 57 acres devoted to sports fields and a multi-functional recreational center.
